Store credit terms and features

Savebo offer merchants the ability to issue, store, maintain, monetise and accept payments of store credit. Shoppers are offered an opportunity to purchase store credit on terms that offered to them from merchants. All credit issued by merchants is offered on the following terms.

Closed Loop Currency System

Brand currency on Savebo operates on a closed-loop system, meaning that credits issued by a brand can only be redeemed for products or services with that specific merchant. These credits cannot be used across different merchants on the platform.

Currency Transferability

Savebo allows easy, free transfers of brand currency between Savebo wallets, much like transferring cash. Users can purchase brand currency directly from merchants, which can then be gifted or shared with other users at any time, making Savebo credits both flexible and user-friendly.

Currency Purchase Value

Brand currency values are shown in local currency terms, such as AUD (Australian Dollars) for Australian users. Some merchants may offer bonus credit as an incentive, rewarding users with additional value for certain transactions or credit purchases. These rewards are determined by the issuing brand and may vary by transaction type.

Currency Redemption

Brand currency holders can redeem their credits with the issuing merchant, either in person or online, while the currency remains active. This flexibility enables users to use their credits in a way that suits them bestβ€”whether shopping online or visiting a physical location.
