Savebo powers brand currency

Savebo offers customers a new way of and transacting with retail brands that is based on stored value and digital brand assets. We call this brand currency, and we believe that it serves both consumers and merchants better as compared to traditional forms of commerce.

Until now, shoppers have had few options to store their money, with a number of these methods offering little to no reward or return. These current options for storing value include gold, cash, or an interest-bearing depository or savings account. Whilst each of these current methods of storing value serves an important purpose, one key shortcoming is that they offer consumers very little reward in return for their loyalty and patronage. We believe that brands can do a better job and that brands are better positioned to compete more efficiently in the pursuit of capturing customer stored value through the issuance of a new kind of currency called brand currency.

๐Ÿ”ฑ Gold: Gold is a safe store of value that has stood the test of time. When storing your money in gold, there is no interest rate or return paid to you.

๐Ÿ’ต Cash: Cash is a safe store of value that is issued and controlled by central governments. When storing your money in cash, there is no interest rate or return paid to you.

๐Ÿฆ Bank Account: A deposit account is a safe store of value that is offered by financial institutions. When storing your money in a bank account, banks reward you for storing your funds with them with a savings interest rate. Generally, the rate of reward is quite small, ranging between 2-5% per annum (PA).

๐ŸŒˆ Brand Currency: Brand currency is a safe store of value that is issued and controlled by brands (as opposed to central governments). When storing your money with a brand, brands can reward you with bonus credit issued at a rate of between 2-40% instantly. The rewards of storing your funds with a brand can far exceed that of storing your funds in a traditional method by a factory of hundreds and sometimes many thousands.
